Ryan Rhodes is running for his first term in the Iowa Legislature in House District 45, which is currently held by Representative Beth Wessel-Kroeschell.
Ryan is 26 and has live in Iowa for most of his life. His father, John, worked as a golf course superintendent of Cedar Rapids Country Club. His mother, Janice, works as a Nurse Practitioner. He has four younger sisters Carley, Jennelle, Elise, and Kirsten.
He attended Cedar Rapids schools and graduated from Cedar Rapids Washington High School. He now attends Iowa State University, where he will receive a Bachelor’s degree in the fall of 2008 in Turfgrass Management.
Ryan Interned at the Leadership Institute as the personal intern to the Institute’s President Morton Blackwell.
Ryan has long been involved with Republican politics. He has helped locally with the county party and College Republicans, while also contributing to campaigns for Senator Chuck Grassley, Congressman Tom Tancredo (CO), and Senator John Thune (SD).
Ryan attends Harvest Vineyard Church in Ames.
